Soul Food Impact Empowerment is governed by an independent Board of Trustees who are responsible for ensuring good governance, compliance with charity law, and the proper use of charitable resources. The Trustees provide strategic oversight, while day-to-day operations are managed by an Executive Leadership Team. We are committed to transparency, safeguarding, and continuous improvement in all aspects of our work.

Our Leadership

The Board of Trustees is the highest governing body of the organisation and is responsible for:

  1. Setting strategic direction
  2. Ensuring legal and regulatory compliance
  3. Safeguarding charitable assets
  4. Upholding ethical standards and public trust

Key Roles

  1. Chair of the Board – Provides leadership to the Board and ensures effective governance
  2. Vice Chair – Supports the Chair and leads on strategic priorities
  3. Treasurer – Oversees financial governance, risk management, and accountability
  4. Secretary – Ensures compliance with statutory and governance requirements
  5. Trustees – Provide expertise in community development, faith engagement, human rights, finance, and safeguarding
